Star Bank is excited to welcome Melissa "Missy" to our team as a Loan Operations Processor based in Maple Lake location.
Missy grew up in Annandale and has spent most of her life in the area. Before joining Star Bank, she worked as a property appraiser for nine years. She also brings previous banking experience on both the deposit and lending sides and has been looking forward to returning to the banking industry.

Congratulations to Halena Chase on her new role as Loan Assistant in our Wheaton office. Halena joined Star Bank in 2021 and has grown through several customer-facing roles during her tenure with the bank. She began as a Customer Service Representative before moving to Customer Service Specialist, Universal Banker, and most recently, Customer Service Supervisor. Her experience serving customers in these roles has helped her build strong relationships in the community, develop a deep understanding of customer's needs, and become a trusted member of the Wheaton team.

Growing up in Maple Lake, Abigail is familiar with seeing Star Bank out and about in the community and has always been impressed with the friendly, community-focused culture. After graduating from High School, she attended Alexandria Technical & Community College, where she earned a degree in Accounting and Business Management. She’s currently attending Bemidji State University pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Star Bank recently donated $5,000 to the Verndale Legacy Foundation to support the construction of a new accessible playground at the Verndale School.

Taylor brings previous banking experience to her new role, having spent three years working in the industry as both a Teller and Universal Banker. After relocating from Wisconsin to Buffalo, MN in 2023, she transitioned into daycare work, but found herself missing the customer relationships and meaningful interactions that made banking so rewarding. When the opportunity to join Star Bank came along, she knew it was the right fit.

Esther has been enjoying her first few weeks at Star Bank and says every day brings something new to learn. As she settles in, she's been surprised by some of the behind-the-scenes aspects of the banking world...like how much coin is handled every day and that the vault is quite different from what is portrayed in the movies!

Chloe recently moved to the Verndale area after getting married in January. Since joining Star Bank, she has been busy training and shadowing team members while getting to know our customers and community. She shared that the Verndale team and community have been incredibly welcoming. She's enjoyed getting to know the ropes and is hitting the ground running in her new role.
