Welcome, Tera Hansbro!
Star Bank is excited to welcome Tera Hansbro to our Maple Lake team as VP Employee Relations & Talent Development.
Tera brings many years of banking experience to Star Bank. She began her career in retail banking, where she spent 17 years working with customers and building relationships. Along the way, she earned her master’s degree in Human Resources Management and most recently continued her career in banking before joining the Star Bank team. Her background in both banking and human resources brings valuable experience to her new role.
What Tera enjoys most about banking is simple: working with people. In her role as VP, Employee Relations & Talent Development, she looks forward to using her passion for people to support employees and help them grow in their careers.
Tera grew up in Plymouth and now lives in Rogers with her husband and their three children - a son and two daughters. Much of her time outside of work is spent cheering on her kids and taking them to their activities and sporting events. When she gets the chance, Tera also enjoys playing volleyball, a sport she played in college and one she credits with helping develop her competitive nature.
Travel for the Hansbro family often revolves around the kids’ sports, but they also enjoy making time for family adventures. Last year, they took a family vacation to Mount Rushmore.
Banking also runs a little deeper in Tera’s family. A fun fact about her is that her parents actually met while working at a bank!
