Star Bank is proud to recognize Taylor Wahlquist Johnson, Loan Operations Processor, for earning the Certified Community Bank Consumer Lender (CCBCL) designation through the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).
The CCBCL certification is designed for community banking professionals who want to strengthen their expertise in consumer lending. To earn the designation, program attendees must successfully complete the ICBA Consumer Lending Institute, actively participate in case studies and group projects, and pass a comprehensive certification exam. The credential also requires ongoing continuing education to maintain certification.
During the institute, participants gain in-depth knowledge of the entire consumer lending process, including lending applications, tax return analysis, credit scoring and credit report analysis, loan structuring, documentation, pricing, compliance, portfolio management, and credit quality management.
“The ICBA Consumer Lending Institute was an excellent opportunity to deep dive into underwriting and collaborate with other lenders and processors nationwide,” said Taylor. “The experience was not only beneficial for my knowledge of Consumer Lending, but will help me provide better support to our Star Bank Lenders and Customers.”
