Star Bank is excited to welcome Melissa "Missy" to our team as a Loan Operations Processor based in Maple Lake location.
Missy grew up in Annandale and has spent most of her life in the area. Before joining Star Bank, she worked as a property appraiser for nine years. She also brings previous banking experience on both the deposit and lending sides and has been looking forward to returning to the banking industry.
In her new role as Loan Operations Processor, Missy is excited to build on her previous experience, take on new responsibilities, and continue growing her career in banking. She looks forward to learning more about Star Bank’s loan operations processes and supporting the work that helps customers and communities throughout the organization.
Outside of work, Missy enjoys fishing, quilting, and camping, often spending time near Voyageurs National Park. She also shows her two Newfoundlands, Nova and Enzo, at dog shows throughout the region. Her travels have taken her to surrounding states and Canada, and she hopes to attend a show in Oregon in the future.
Missy is actively involved in several canine organizations. She serves as vice president of the Wright County Kennel Club, treasurer of the Granite City Kennel Club, and president of the Northstar Newfoundland Club. She also enjoys following football and hockey and says people may be surprised to learn that she is very mechanically inclined, particularly when it comes to cars.
Looking ahead, Missy hopes to travel to Australia, New Zealand, and Banff. She is also excited to continue learning, growing, and building her career as part of the Star Bank team.
