We’re excited to welcome Stacy Dukowitz to our Verndale team!
Stacy brings a little bit of everything with her to her new role as Loan Operations Processor. Having over 12 years of experience in the banking industry, Stacy has served as a teller, loan assistant, personal banker, and in loan operations. In her new role at Star Bank, Stacy is the one behind the scenes making sure all the detailed information from our lenders gets processed accurately and efficiently. She describes it as a bit like solving a puzzle, which is exactly what she enjoys most about the job.
Stacy has been settling in quickly and shared that while there’s a lot to learn, she’s already noticed something special about Star Bank. “Everyone is so welcoming and helpful,” she said. “It’s not something you find at every job. People here are just really friendly and work well together.”
When she’s not at work you can find Stacy relaxing at home with a good book or spending time with her kids. Her family recently hit the road in their new camper, traveling to South Dakota and she’s already looking forward to more adventures. Yellow Stone National Park is next on her travel wish list.
She also has a creative side. Stacy grew up learning how to sew, quilt, and embroider from her grandma. Quilting is a craft she still enjoys today, especially making quilts for her family and friends. Stacy also has a musical side, playing viola back in high school (though she admits it’s been a while since she’s picked up the bow).
And if you ever need a conversation starter with Stacy, just crack open an ice-cold Mountain Dew, it’s her drink of choice.
