We're excited to welcome Barb Hawkins to our team as a Loan Operations Processor in our Maple Lake office. Barb brings a background in both banking and event planning to her new role. She’s previously worked as a teller and an Administrative Assistant, as well as event planning at Holiday Inn. With her diverse background, Barb is a wonderful addition and will be a strong resource for our team and our customers.
Having a taste of the the deposit side and the administrative side of banking, Barb shared that she’s especially excited to now learn the lending side. “Every loan is a bit different, so it brings something new every day,” she said.
Outside of work, Barb enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have been married for 29 years, and together they’ve raised two daughters who are now both married. Barb is also thrilled about becoming a first-time grandmother this December!
In her free time, you’ll often find Barb camping, traveling, or enjoying the outdoors. This winter, her husband is hoping to convince her to try skiing. And on her bucket list? A dream trip to Norway!
