After a remarkable 26 years of service to the community and to Star Bank, Jeff Koenen, Vice President and Branch Manager at our Wheaton office is announcing his retirement.
Jeff’s journey in banking began at Dakota County State Bank as an operations manager. His dedication led him to hold various leadership roles at Waconia State Bank, First American Bank, and Community First National Bank, where he honed his expertise and knowledge in lending and branch operations before joining Star Bank.
Throughout his career, Jeff has always embraced continuous learning. He consistently emphasized this value and encouraged his team to seize learning opportunities, fostering a culture of growth within his branch.
You could often find Jeff in the office before the sun came up, ensuring branch operations were running smoothly and his employees and customers were being well taken care of. Jeff found immense satisfaction in empowering individuals to achieve their dreams – whether it was a customer reaching for their financial goals or his employees striving for career advancement.
In his retirement, Jeff looks forward to spending more time with family, especially his grandchildren. You might catch him lakeside with his camper or watching a hockey game.
