Tim Olson brings a deep-rooted connection to agriculture and a strong commitment to supporting local producers in west-central Minnesota. Having grown up on a family farm, starting with dairy cattle and later transitioning into crop farming, he understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with running an operation.

He began his career in agricultural lending right after college and has since gained experience across ag, commercial, and mortgage lending. Over the past several years, he has worked closely with customers in the Elbow Lake area, building relationships and helping operations navigate both growth and uncertainty.

Tim takes a relationship-first approach, focusing on understanding each customer’s unique situation and goals. He values open, honest communication and works alongside his customers to find practical solutions. He understands that in today’s environment of tight margins and rising input costs, agribusiness owners need someone they can trust. He believes strong partnerships are the foundation of successful operations.

Outside of work, Tim and his family stay closely connected to agriculture. They live on a hobby farm where they raise sheep and rabbits, and his children are actively involved in 4H and FFA, often showing animals at local fairs and the MN State Fair. He also enjoys spending time with family, especially during deer hunting season, and is an avid Minnesota sports fan.
